Health Ministry Receives $200,000 from Hormuud for Victims of K-5 Junction Attack

The federal Ministry of Health received a donation of $200,000 from the Hormuud Salaam Foundation for victims of last weekend’s terror attack in K-5 Junction, Mogadishu.

Hormuud donated the funds to the health ministry for onward disbursement to the victims of the attack that has claimed over 100 lives.

More than 300 people survived the attack but were left with injuries for which some of them require advanced treatment outside the country.

Health ministry officials expressed gratitude to the foundation, which is a subsidiary of the Hormuud telecom firm.
