Heavy rains and the subsequent floods displaced over 74,000 people in Somalia.
A report by the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) shows that the rains and floods displaced thousands of people.
Consequently, the more than 74,000 people are forced to live in camps for the internally displaced persons (IDPs).
With this, the number of IDPs in Somalia has risen to 215,000 since January 2024.
