The President of HirShabelle State, Ali Gudlawe Hussein, recently met with the Head of the International Organization for Migration (IOM) in Somalia, Frantz Celestin, to discuss and enhance stabilization efforts in the region.
Their meeting, which took place on Thursday, focused on collaborative initiatives aimed at fostering stability and addressing displacement issues within HirShabelle State, which has been significantly affected by conflict and insecurity.
The partnership aims to implement programs that support the return and reintegration of displaced persons, improve local governance, and strengthen community resilience. The efforts are part of a broader strategy to promote peace and development in Somalia.
