President Mohamed Abdi Ware of HirShabelle has urged the people in his region to embrace reconciliation more.
On October 8, President Ware issued a rallying call to the residents of the semiautonomous state urging them to “come together and reconcile.”
Ware made this call after appreciating the “divergent feelings” residents in his state harbor towards multiple issues.
He said that one of the best ways of building an inclusive state for all is to embrace and pursue complete reconciliation.
Currently, President Ware is in the process of rebuilding the state’s administration with elections only a few months away.
