President Ali Hussein Gudlawe of the regional state of HirShabelle visited a village that government troops recently liberated from Al-Shabaab militants.
The President visited Guulane village for a meeting with the Somali National Army (SNA) forces that liberated it from Al-Shabaab insurgents.
He was in the company of the Governor of Middle Shabelle as well as other senior officers serving the local administration.
Gudlawe commended the government soldiers who teamed up with members of the local community to get rid of the terrorists from the village.
