Hormuud Salaam Foundation (HSF) sponsored heart screening for more than 100 Somali children.
The foundation, which is part of the telecom company’s corporate social responsibility, ensured that more than 100 children diagnosed with heart ailments benefited from the screening.
Around 80 percent of the 119 children who were screened need heart surgery.
In the coming months, the foundation will take the children to Italy where they are scheduled to undergo heart surgery.
The screening took place in Mogadishu.
