Aid agencies have issued an appeal for immediate global action to prevent a looming famine in the region.
The aid agencies spoke on the matter on November 8.
In their view, the region should be ready for yet another season of drought as rains fail yet again.
The aid agencies stated that the region should expect yet another failed rainy season between March and May 2023.
