Hundreds of Travelers Stranded at Mogadishu’s Busiest Airport

On Tuesday, hundreds of travelers were stranded at the busiest airport in Somalia’s capital of Mogadishu.

The travelers were unable to board their respective flights after airlines operating from the Aden Adde International Airport suspended all domestic flights.

They cancelled all domestic flights to protest a decision by the National Intelligence and Security Agency (NISA) to ban one of the airlines from operating to Dolow, Gedo.

NISA is yet to issue any statement explaining its reasons for banning the airline from operating along the route to Dolow.

Consequently, most travelers were greatly inconvenienced as there were no planes taking to the skies from the airport.
