Abshir Omar Jama Huruse received credentials from the new Swedish Ambassador to Somalia.
Huruse, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, received the credentials of Ambassador Joachim Waern.
Amb. Waern presented his credentials on Tuesday.
“We look forward to a further strengthening of the crucial relations Somalia enjoys with Sweden,” said Huruse during the brief ceremony.
Huruse and Amb. Waern reiterated their nations’ commitment to strengthening the longstanding relations between Somalia and Sweden.
