The International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) is considering ways of providing the aviation sector in Somalia with technical support.
The organization’s Technical Cooperation Bureau announced this when they held a meeting with Fardowsa Osman Egal on Friday.
Egal is the federal Minister of Transport and Civil Aviation in the Somali government.
She has been attending the ICAO meeting for much of this week.
Senior officials from ICAO’s Technical Cooperation Bureau met with her for wide-ranging discussions.
They considered how the organization can provide Somalia with technical support for its aviation systems.
