The Independent Constitutional Review Commission (ICRC) recently engaged with Somali civil society on Chapters 5-9 of the Constitution.
This consultation aimed to gather critical insights and feedback, ensuring that the revised Constitution will be more inclusive and reflective of the diverse values and aspirations of all Somalis.
By involving civil society, the ICRC hopes to create a document that not only addresses the needs of the present but also safeguards the interests of future generations, fostering unity and long-term stability in the country.
