The International Federation of Journalists (IFJ) visited Somalia to launch the “End Impunity Campaign.”
The campaign is part of IFJ’s strategy of holding authorities to account.
Its campaign mostly revolves around the governments and perpetrators who take part in committing crimes against journalists.
In Somalia, 57 journalists have been killed since 2010.
Sadly, IFJ notes that only four people have been held to account for their murders.
Consequently, IFJ is holding the last leg of its three-week End Impunity Campaign in the East African nation.
IFJ promised to work closely with the National Union of Somali Journalists (NUSOJ) to ensure that journalists receive the justice they crave.
