The Intergovernmental Authority on Development (IGAD) is ready to support Somalia to achieve its development priorities.
Mohamud Kaarshe, IGAD’s Head of Mission to Somalia, revealed this when he held talks with Mohamed Beenebeene on Wednesday.
Beenebeene, Somalia’s Minister of Planning, Investment, and Economic Development, said that he had in-depth discussions with Kaarshe.
They discussed ways of bolstering cooperation in multiple sectors between IGAD and Somalia
However, they primarily agreed on the need for IGAD to help the Somali government to actualise its development priorities.
