The new Head of Mission of the Intergovernmental Authority on Development (IGAD) in Somalia has submitted his credentials.
IGAD’s Mohamud Kaarshe submitted his credentials on Monday.
He submitted them to Ali Omar, who is a State Minister in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.
Omar congratulated Kaarshe in his new appointment while wishing him success.
Kaarshe is the first occupant of this office since Somalia was welcomed to IGAD late last year.
