The International Labor Organization (ILO) held a virtual farewell party for Prime Minister Mohamed Hussein Roble.
The Prime Minister had worked at ILO offices in Nairobi for several years before President Mohamed Abdullahi Farmaajo appointed him to replace Hassan Ali Khaire.
On Friday, November 20, his former colleagues at ILO hosted a farewell party in his honor.
Omar Farouk Osman, the Secretary General of the National Union for Somali Journalists (NUSOJ), also joined the party.
Osman got an opportunity to address Prime Minister Roble and the other guests attending the party virtually.
He noted that Prime Minister Roble had served ILO with unmatched distinction.
Osman stated his belief that Roble would prove to be one of Somalia’s greatest assets in the country’s quest for social justice and peace.
