The International Monetary Fund (IMF) has concluded its rigorous review of Somalia.
Dr. Elmi M. Nur, the federal Minister of Finance, confirmed this on Thursday.
He added that IMF had already prepared its report on the entire process.
“Thus far IMF is pleased with the progress Somalia has made to achieve debt relief by the end of the year,” Dr. Nur added.
“Somalia will proceed with its economic and financial reforms,” the minister added.
He said this following a four-day meeting in Nairobi.
The meeting tackled several issues including public finance management, domestic revenue development, and economic infrastructure reform.
