Somalia’s Minister of Interior, Federal Affairs and Reconciliation visited the regional state of Southwest for talks on the ongoing liberation operations in the area.
Ahmed Fiqi, the interior minister, visited Baidoa on Sunday, November 6.
He spent time in discussions with President Abdiaziz Hassan Mohamed Laftagareen of the Southwest state.
Their discussions mostly revolved around the ongoing liberation operations in the region.
They also spoke about local governance and decentralization.
Federal and regional troops have joined forces with local communities in the region to wage war against terrorists.
