Franz Celestin, the International Organization for Migration (IOM) Chief in Somalia, held a meeting with the Turkish Ambassador in Mogadishu.
The meeting between Celestin and Mehmet Yilmaz, the Turkish Ambassador to Somalia, took place on Monday, June 13.
Their discussions covered wide-ranging issues affecting Somalia.
Celestin and Ambassador Yilmaz discussed the important work that IOM and Turkey carry out in the East African nation.
The IOM Chief commended the government of Turkey for the great work it has done in Somalia.
Ambassador Yilmaz hailed IOM for standing with Somalia on matters regarding immigration too.
