International Organization for Migration (IOM) resettled 39 migrants in Berbera earlier this week.
IOM worked closely with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) during the resettlement.
The migrants had returned to Somalia unexpectedly.
IOM and UNHCR supplied them with food and accommodation. Additionally, both organizations ensured that the migrants received enough health assistance.
The migrants were then accorded transportation to their places of origin in Mogadishu and Hargeisa.
