The leader of the regional state of Jubbaland met with members of his administration to brief them on several issues.
President Ahmed Sheikh Mohamed Islam Madobe of Jubbaland held a meeting with his cabinet ministers on May 22.
The meeting took place at his official office in Kismayo.
During Sunday’s meeting, Madobe updated the cabinet on the current situation in Somalia.
He had just returned from a trip to Mogadishu where he had been ahead of the presidential elections that took place on May 15.
He returned a couple of days ago.
Additionally, President Madobe briefed the cabinet on the key priorities that his administration should now focus on after the conclusion of the national elections.
