President Ahmed Sheikh Mohamed Islam of Jubbaland participated in a Quran competition in Kismayo.
The competition took place on Wednesday in Kismayo, the administrative capital of the regional state of Jubbaland.
He awarded competitors various prizes.
Some of the prizes that the winners received included cars and money, which was in the form of US dollars.
