Kenya Airways has announced plans to resume its flights to Mogadishu.
In the announcement made on November 29, Kenya Airways (KQ) said that its flights to Mogadishu would recommence on February 14, 2024.
KQ stopped flying to the Somali capital a few years ago.
However, President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud’s administration has worked hard to improve relations between Somalia and Kenya.
He has held several meetings with Kenya’s President William Ruto on this and other pending matters.
