Kenya has denied receiving any official communication on the expulsion of its Ambassador to Somalia.
On November 29, the Federal Government of Somalia (FGS) expelled Lt. Gen. (Rtd) Lucas Tumbo from Somalia.
Kenya’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs denied receiving any official communication from Somali authorities on Tumbo’s expulsion.
Furthermore, the foreign affairs ministry issued an official communiqué denying Somalia’s accusations of interfering in its internal affairs.
The ministry said that it was committed to supporting the rebuilding exercise currently taking place in Somalia.
