Kenya has promised to open a consulate in Somaliland in 2021.
The news emerged from a meeting between President Muse Bihi Abdi of Somaliland and President Uhuru Kenyatta of Kenya in Nairobi on December 15.
President Bihi is currently in Kenya on a three-day visit.
He arrived in Kenya on Sunday, December 13.
On Monday, the two leaders held the first meeting, which several senior government leaders from both sides also attended at State House, Nairobi.
They then followed up yesterday’s meeting with another one at State House today.
