Kenya Defense Forces (KDF) joined their colleagues from Jubbaland in holding joint military operations in Dhobley.
The KDF soldiers are part of the African Union Transition Mission in Somalia (ATMIS).
They undertook joint operations with Jubbaland Security Forces (JSF) on Friday.
The operations were designed to enhance the skills and capabilities of the JSF in clearance and roadblock procedures.
JSF troops received mentoring from their Kenyan counterparts on practical clearance procedures.
They were enlightened on how to conduct hostile environment searches too.
