The Kenyan and United Kingdom ambassadors to Somalia held a meeting in Mogadishu on Wednesday this week.
UK’s Ambassador Mike Nithavrianakis hosted the new Kenyan Ambassador to Somalia Cyprian Kubai Iringo.
The new Kenya Ambassador is fresh from presenting his credentials to President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud.
While welcoming his Kenyan counterpart, Amb. Nithavrianakis hailed the warm relations that Kenya and UK enjoy.
He expressed hope that the relations would enable them to work together on issues affecting Somalia such as security, politics, and border.
Amb. Iringo expressed gratitude to Amb. Nithavrianakis for the warm reception accorded him at the UK Embassy in Mogadishu.
