The administrative capital of the regional state of Jubbaland hosted the meeting that attracted some of Somalia’s senior-most security officers.
Some of the officers present at the meeting included General Sulub Ahmed Firin.
Gen. Firin is the head of the Somali Police Force (SPF).
The meeting, which lasted two days, attracted ministers in charge of security and interior dockets from Southwest, Galmudug, and HirShabelle regional states.

Gen. Firin chaired his first public meeting since his appointment as the SPF head in February 2023.
