Las Anod prisoners of war (POWs) commend the treatment that they have been receiving at the hands of authorities.
In recent days, there have been claims of mistreatment of the POWs on various platforms.
On Thursday, many of the POWs spoke of the warm treatment their captors have accorded them ever since they were arrested.
Somali National Army (SNA) soldiers arrested the POWs.
The POWs gave their views to Mohamed Abdullahi Nafaqo, the Governor of the Togdeer region.
They were together with the head of the correctional facility where the government has opted to keep them in detention.
