On Saturday, Somaliland’s Ministry of Health donated medical supplies to Lasanod General Hospital.
The donation included two ambulances and medical supplies for testing and treating COVID-19 in the region.
Omar Ali Abdilahi, the Minister of Health, handed over the donation to the hospital. He gave out the keys to the ambulances to the management of the hospital too.
One of the ambulances was a donation from a local trader in Jabutawi. It is equipped with state-of-the-art features, which include oxygen cylinders, for use during emergencies.
Local residents can now look forward to speedy transportation of the sick to nearby hospitals for immediate medical attention.
