The latest round of clan clashes left a family mourning after five of its members were killed in Mudug region.
Clan clashes were reported in Mudug’s Saaho area on Sunday.
At the end of the day, they had claimed the lives of at least five members of the same family.
Six others were wounded in the clashes.
The region is notorious for clashes between clans. Often, they fight over lands for grazing. Lack of access to water wells also leads to deadly fights.
