A legendary Somali lute player has died in Lower Shabelle.
Mohamud Haji Ali, who made his name as both a lute player and singer, died on Saturday, January 21.
He passed away in Gaywarow, his hometown village.
Ali’s family and friends confirmed his death a few moments ago.
