Somali legislators have called for the immediate release of a journalist who has been arrested multiple times by security agencies.
The parliamentarians discussed the case of Abdalle Ahmed Mumin, an award-winning journalist rearrested by authorities last week.
They discussed the issue on Monday.
They tabled a motion asking the Federal Government of Somalia (FGS) to restore the rights of the detained journalist.
