Several areas in Somalia are expected to experience light rain over the next one week.
The Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) made this prediction in conjunction with the Somali Water and Land Information Management (SWALIM).
Both organizations issued a joint weather forecast for the April 4-11 period.
However, they warned that Shabelle River would experience rising water levels that could pose a threat to local residents.
Specifically, they asked residents of Beletweyne and the surrounding areas to watch out.
Beletweyne and the surrounding areas could feel the full effect of deadly floods, as has been the case in other locations in the past few days.
