Lt. Gen. Sam Okiding visited the African Union Transition Mission in Somalia (ATMIS) troops in Lower Shabelle.
Lt. Gen. Okiding, the ATMIS Force Commander, visited the Ugandan contingent on Monday.
Specifically, he led a delegation of senior ATMIS officers in visiting Ugandan troops stationed at two forward operating bases (FOBs).
These are the Qoryoley and Janale FOBs, where the Ugandan troops serving in ATMIS are stationed.
