The Head of the African Union Mission in Somalia (AMISOM) discussed the current security and political situation in Somalia with the French Ambassador to Somalia.
Ambassador Francisco Madeira, the Head of AMISOM, met with Aline Kuster-Menager, the French Ambassador to Somalia, to discuss various issues in the East African nation.
Their meeting took place on November 21.
During their discussions, the two diplomats touched on wide-ranging issues affecting Somalia.
These included security, especially as Somalia is currently preparing for parliamentary polls.
They also spoke about Somalia’s politics.
The two envoys delved into the status of AMISOM too.
