The Speaker of the federal parliament of Somalia has traveled to Nairobi for the 17th East African Community (EAC) Parliament Speakers’ meeting.
Speaker Sheikh Adan Mohamed Nur Madobe of the House of the People (Lower House) left for Nairobi on Tuesday.
He boarded a plane destined for the Kenyan capital at the Aden Adde International Airport in Mogadishu earlier today.
Speaker Madobe will join his colleagues from other EAC member nations in discussing ways of overcoming developmental hurdles and other issues.
