Malaysia has promised to help Somalia to improve and rebuild its aviation industry.
This emerged following a meeting between the ministers in charge of aviation dockets from Somalia and Malaysia.
Fardowsa Osman Egal held discussions with Dr. Wee Ka Siong on this issue on September 27.
They met on the sidelines of the ongoing 41st International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) meeting, which is taking place in Montreal, Canada.
Dr. Siong assured Egal that Malaysia would support the rebuilding of the aviation sector in the East African nation.
Egal expressed gratitude for the show of support from Malaysia.
