A man accused of killing a Somaliland police officer has been arrested.
Police officers arrested the man who reportedly killed their colleague on Monday.
He is suspected of killing Abdillahi Ali Ahmed, an officer attached to the Hargeisa’s Ma’alin Haroun Police Station.
Police officers added that they arrested a man on Monday night, a few hours after he had committed the shocking crime.
They refuted reports that the officer was killed as an act of vengeance.
The officers also denied claims that the officer’s killing was tribally inclined.
