A man who was arrested for stabbing a Somali elder and killing him appeared before a North Melbourne court on October 20.
Luqman Abdishakur Ahmed was arraigned before court after being arrested for stabbing Mohamed Farah in January this year.
Apparently, Farah had responded to calls by Ahmed’s family for help.
At the time, Ahmed was manifesting mental health issues, which caused him to wield a kitchen knife with which he threatened his loved ones.
Ahmed stabbed Farah, who was trying to calm him down with three other community leaders.
