Mogadishu Hosts 60 Families Escaping Police Atrocity in Gursum

Mogadishu is currently hosting 60 families that escaped police atrocity in Gursum.

The families ran from the wrath of police officers from Liyu.

They claimed that the officers had set their houses ablaze thus rendering them homeless.

They are originally from Somali State in Ethiopia.

The families called on the Somali Disaster Management Agency (SODMA) and Mohamed Abdi Ware to come to their rescue.

Ware is a former President of the regional state of HirShabelle. Currently, he is the Special Envoy for Stabilization and Civilian Protection.
