Mogadishu was the host of a meeting held to discuss the impact of the recent El Nino floods in Somalia.
Mahamuud Moallim, the Somali Disaster Management Agency (SODMA) Commissioner, chaired the meeting jointly with George Conway.
The latter is the Deputy Special Representative of the Secretary-General (SRSG) of the United Nations in Somalia.
They discussed the floods impact with the representatives of the UN and other aid agencies.
Specifically, their discussions on Saturday revolved around the effect of the floods in the central and southern parts of the East African nation.
