Omar Filish, the Mayor of Mogadishu, held a meeting with officials from the Norwegian Embassy.
Mayor Filish, who also doubles as the Governor of Benadir Region, discussed several issues with the delegation from Norwegian Embassy on March 23.
Two of the members of the Norwegian delegation were Haakon Svane and Erling Hess Johnsen.
Svane is the Charge d’Affaires at the Norwegian Embassy in Mogadishu.
Johnsen serves as the Head of Cooperation of the Norwegian Embassy for Kenya and Somalia.
Discussions at the meeting mostly revolved around the upcoming stabilization and reconciliation program for the next three years.
They also spoke about the role of the local administration in building trust within the community.
