Omar Mohamud Filish, the Mayor of Mogadishu, has launched the construction of a road in the region.
Mayor Filish launched the construction of the DR Kadere Road on March 5.
Several officials from the Benadir Regional Administration (BRA) were at Saturday’s event, which attracted hundreds of onlookers.
The road would improve access to Dahab Marina Beach in the nation’s capital.
Filish also doubles as the Governor of Benadir.
