A Mogadishu police officer who killed two civilians has been sentenced to death.
The officer, who was identified as Hassan Aden Hassan, has been sentenced to death for shooting and killing Hassan Ali Addaawe and Madino Abdullahi Abdi.
Hassan murdered the two Somalis in a deadly incident on April 24, 2020. He was later arrested and arraigned in court.
According to the court, Hassan was found guilty of deliberately killing innocent individuals and of using excessive unauthorized force.
