Police officers in Mogadishu seized huge amounts of narcotics and alcohol in a raid.
The officers conducted the raid on Thursday night.
The operation was in the Gubadley neighborhood of Mogadishu.
Mayor Yusuf Madale later visited the site of the operations. He commended the officers for a diligent job.
He urged not to quit but continue cracking down on organized crime and the increased use of narcotics.
