Mogadishu Suicide Bombing Targeted Security Firm Guarding United Nations Offices

The deadly suicide bomb attack that rocked Mogadishu on November 24 targeted a security firm that guards the offices of the United Nations.

The Thursday morning attack caused the deaths of eight individuals.

It also left 17 people injured.

According to security sources, the attack targeted a convoy of vehicles that belong to the security firm.

Al-Shabaab has already claimed responsibility for the deadly attack.

It claimed that its fighters carried out the attack using a suicide-bombing car.

As per Al-Shabaab’s statement, at the time of the incident, workers from the security firm were transporting “white officers” from General Gordon Training Camp.
