Mogadishu University Celebrates 25th Anniversary

Mogadishu University is celebrating its 25th Anniversary.

The university, which was established in 1997, celebrated its 25th anniversary on September 22 in a colorful ceremony.

Senior officers from the Federal Government of Somalia (FGS) attended the ceremony.

Prime Minister Hamza Abdi Barre led the government officials at the ceremony.

Other officers included Abdi Hashi, the Speaker of the Senate (Upper House), and the recently appointed new Mayor of Mogadishu.

Mogadishu University is one of Somalia’s premier institutions of higher learning.
