A pregnant woman in Mogadishu has succumbed to injuries she sustained when her husband burnt her.
The woman, identified as Lul Abdiasis, died on Friday.
According to local sources, Lul’s husband set her on fire for reasons that remain unknown. She was then rushed to a nearby hospital from where she succumbed to her injuries.
The mother of six was pregnant at the time of the incident.
Her family say that they will not bury her until the culprit is arrested and charged in court for the shocking crime.
