The main roads in Mogadishu have been ordered closed as Lower House reconvenes on April 12.
Authorities in the capital city announced the closure to improve security.
Furthermore, the closure was also necessitated by celebrations to mark the 61st anniversary of the Somali National Army (SNA).
There are reports that Prime Minister Mohamed Hussein Roble intends to visit several military bases in the capital.
His visit of the military bases follows recent attacks of similar facilities in Lower Shabelle by Al-Shabaab militants.
