TurkSom Military Academy in Mogadishu has received the highest seal of approval for producing excellent soldiers.
Prime Minister Hamza Abdi Barre commended the academy when he visited its facilities on Tuesday.
During the visit, Prime Minister Barre took time to inspect officers and NCOs who are receiving training at the academy to serve under Gorgor Brigade.
Thereafter, he spoke to the trainees and their instructors.
He hailed the academy for producing a proper fighting force. In his words, the academy had produced a force that had improved security in the country significantly.
